Strandbad Sandweier
With a view of the Black Forest, you can immerse yourself in the lake in summer and enjoy a few refreshing swims. Again “ashore” you can either relax in the sunshine or take advantage of the activities offered by the lido: beach volleyball, table tennis, boccia and basketball are available to be sporty.
Deglersee Rastatt
If you feel like going for a dive, you can drive a few kilometers north to the Deglersee lake. The attached diving sports center of the lake offers courses for beginners and complete rental equipment for diving pass holders. Discover the vegetation and hidden statues in Deglersee or use the lake for swimming.
Wakeboarding
In the north of Freiburg, you can try out wake-boarding at the Tunisee water sports center. With eight different ramps and small challenging obstacles, everyone can experience action at up to 60 km/h here. The necessary equipment can be hired on site. If you are not a boarder, you can also let yourself be pulled through the lake on water skis. In the restaurant at the lake, you can have a typical Baden snack.
Paragliding
From the Merkur Mountain it goes up in the air. The mountain railway takes you up to the summit where your flight adventure starts. If you are an experienced paraglider, you can take off solo, beginners can fly in tandem with a companion. A little run-up and you can enjoy the free view of Baden-Baden, the mountains of the Black Forest and the Rhine Valley before you land again at the foot of the Merkur Mountain.
