Munich's Westend
The Westend is a lively neighbourhood. Historical sites meet high-tech businesses such as Apple and Google. It is less touristy than some of the other Munich districts and offers a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars – both Bavarian and international. This is where the real Munich life takes place. The main railway station and the world-famous Theresienwiese are only a few minutes away. If you want to discover the surroundings of Munich, the lakes and mountains can be reached by car in the shortest possible time.
